Rajasthan, literally means “Land of the Kings”.
Despite its large streaches of deserts, Rajasthan has a rich and a varied flora and fauna. The ride will help you explore the Shikhawati region that is located in the northeast part of the state & has well sculpted havelis that were once made by Marwari merchants. All the forts offer varied murals made in marble or stone and each room is decorated with portraits, antique ornaments or richly carved walls. Most of the 50 forts in the region have been converted to heritage properties. This tour is an amalgamation of the splendour of the forts & heritage properties, cultural brilliance and an experience of a lifetime.

We start the day at ease, to avoid riding in the blinding fog that the Delhi – Jaipur highway is known for. Once off the highway we experience the first of the countryside riding on state highways leading to the town of Mandawa. We will be staying at the beautiful Mandawa Castle. In the evening we bond and get to know each other over a traditional Rajasthani cultural evening set-up in the palatial grounds of the property. Meeting time will be decided basis fog conditions closer to date.

Today we enjoy Mandawa. We start the day after breakfast with a guided fresco trail walk. Mandawa, is known for some of the oldest and largest fresco paintings in the world, and is also called an open air art gallery. We would be back in time at the castle for lunch and a possible snooze. At around 4 PM, we will have camel carts waiting for us in the castle courtyard. We take the cart to the highest dune for our first amazing sunset in the desert. There is an option to take 4x4s and do some dune bashing. After sunset the camel carts will take us to the village for a rustic dinner experience with traditional folk music in the background. After dinner, we head back to the castle, this time in old vintage Jeeps.

Today is one of the longest drives of this tour. We start the day at leisure, riding to the beautiful countryside of central Rajasthan. The ride takes you on the state highways with rolling dunes on both sides. En route we stop at the Tal Chhapar Sanctuary, where the blackbuck can be seen in abundance. After spending some time at the sanctuary we make our way towards Khimsar where we will be putting up at the beautiful Khimsar Dunes Village.  We park our motorcycles at Khimsar Fort and take 4x4s to reach the hotel. Spend late afternoon and evening at the dunes relaxing, dune bashing or just rolling down the dunes. The experience of being in the middle of nowhere will be truly spectacular as you get spellbound by the desert!

With only 100 kms to cover today we enjoy a lazy morning waking up in a village on the dunes. Breakfast will be served outdoors by the porch with a spectacular view after which we start our ride to Jodhpur. The ride will be a relaxed one as go through the interiors towards the city, known to be the second largest in Rajasthan. We head straight to Mehrangarh Fort, to experience Asia’s longest Zip Line. After lunch at the fort we have the afternoon to ourselves. You can explore the famed markets of this Blue City or just unwind at the hotel.

Post breakfast we hop on our motorcycles and make way our towards Jodhour. The ride will be full of experiences as you ride through barren landscapes and riverbeds you witness various species of birds and some antelopes such as the black buck. As we ride further you get a chance to witness the unspoilt, simple and pure rural side in its full glory! A picnic lunch will be arranged for you under a tree after which we make our way to the campsite in the middle of nowhere! We hike up a hill to experience the beautiful sun-set. At sundown you will be able to hear the hymns of the Jackals, summoning us to the bonfire! Dinner will be traditional Rajasthani & BBQ with old family game recipes. You may take part in the preparation process there by learning secrets of the recipes!

Today we start relatively early. Staying in your safari tents in the outdoors means you wake up to the great outdoors. Enjoy your morning tea and breakfast basking in the sun before hitting the road. We make our way onto the highway towards Pushkar, our penultimate destination for the trip. We aim to reach Pushkar by around 2 PM, giving us enough time to freshen up and relax before heading out for an amazing Pushkar walking tour if interested. The walking tour is aptly named as “Four Religions in a Mile”. After completing the walk we ride away from town to witness the sun-set or you can spend some time shopping if you like. We ride back to our campsite to enjoy a BBQ around a bonfire!

After breakfast we start our day’s ride towards the Jaipur Polo Grounds at Bhambori where another adventure awaits. We’ve organized a single engine parachute a.k.a a micro-flight experience for each one of you to end the trip with amazing aerial views of Rajasthan. Those not too keen can saddle up for horse riding. Post the flight we ride to Samode, where we will be staying at a beautiful property called Samode Bagh. Here you can unwind, relax and enjoy the royal Rajasthani hospitality. If you’ve had a tough week building up to this, you can relax at the Spa (added cost). In the evening we get together for a fabulous dinner in the palatial grounds of the property before retiring for the day.

Post a lavish breakfast we make our way back to the EagleRider showroom in Gurgaon. We will be riding back on the national highway with an unforgettable experience and many stories to share with family and friends.
