Its a long journey of over 2100kms crossing 5 states – Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujrat, Maharashtra and finally into Goa. The Goan Rendezvous tour is for riders willing to do 6 hours or more in the saddle a day. The roads are mostly wide and smooth except in a few places and the senecery changes across the states from arid to industrial to lush. We start our day after breakfast and head out onto the scenic Konkan Highway enjoying the winding road along the coast with glimpses of the Arabian Sea. We stop en-route for lunch at the one of the restaurants dotting the highway to Ratnagiri.Ratnagiri is a port city on the Arabian Sea coast with abundant rice fields, cocunuts and mangoes growing in different seasons. We unwind at a beautiful sea side hotel for dinner and a good night’s sleep.

We enjoy a scrumptious breakfast before heading out on our way moving north to Lavasa. We will still be travelling on the beautiful Konkan highway for a major part of our ride today. Lavasa is a private planned city near Pune. It is stylistically based on the Italian town of Portofino, a good place to relax, unwind and recharge for the next day.

Today we cross borders from Maharashtra into Gujrat. We head out after breakfast, making our way from a hilly area to a beach side erstwhile Portugues colony of Daman & Diu.  Daman and Diu is a lovely beach side town with Portuguese styled architechture and a laid back feel to it. Here we can enjoy dinner with the sound of the waves at our preferred beach side hotel.

Today onwards our saddle hours get longer. We start our day early to cover the 589 kms to Udaipur. We are riding to the ‘Venice of the East’, a city filled with lakes and winding streets. We reach Udaipur by evening where we will be staying at one of the many beautiful hotels along the lakeside. Dinner can be enjoyed with a view of the lake and the shimmering city lights.

Our last day of this tour is another long one with 631 kms to cover till the EagleRider Showroom in Gurgaon. Though long the highway is smooth and fast. We leave after breakfast at our hotel in Udaipur and have our lunch along way. The riding is fast and we can reach our final stop in time to enjoy a last dinner together and go over the memories made.
